Unified ranked batnamweight #6 will take on #5 as Strikeforce veterans Hitomi Akano and Alexis Davis will co-main event InvictaFC 2.
#6 ranked Akano (18-9) is one of the best 135ers out of Japan. Coming off a loss to InvictaFC 2 main event Sara McMann; Akano has notable victories over Roxanne Modafferi and Carina Damm.
#5 ranked Davis (11-5) is coming a decsion loss to #2 ranked Sarah Kaufman, but has faced a who’s who of the sport. She has notable wins over Julie Kedzie, Tonya Evinger, and Amadna Nunes.
