The Unified featherweight rankings saw a huge shift, seeing Ronda Rousey standing a top of division she no longer wants any part of.
With Germaine de Randamie’s win over the formerly #1 ranked Hiroko Yamanaka at Strikeforce this past month, Randamie propels herself in the #6 spot. Yamanaka drops to #7.
With Yamanaka’s loss, Rousey moves to the #1 spot (having fought in the 145 division within the past year), but it is expected that change come December after the anniversary of her fight with Julia Budd.
Speaking of Budd, she moves to #5 from #8. Elaina Maxwell moves from #7 to #4.
Due to Rin Nakai not competing in the division, she has been dropped from the rankings. Yana Knuitskaya also announced that she is pregnant and will be inactive for the next year; so she has dropped as well. With the vacancies, Lauren Taylor makes her return to the list.
In the bantamweight division, with Miesha Tate’s win over Julie Kedzie moves her to #4, while Kedzie drops to #10. Sara McMann drops a spot to #5. Amanda Nunes and Sarah D’Alleio moves up a spot to #8 and #9 respectfully.
