The Middle East is the newest area where female fighters are cropping it. Events in Abu Dhabi and Jordan have already hosted fights in the women’s division; and this past weekend, one Egyptian fighter pulled a Ronda Rousey.
Egypt’s Enas Khorshed took on Intisar Binsassi from Tunisia at Revolution Fighting Championship, which took place on the shore of the Dead Sea Saturday. It only took a few minutes before Khorshed locked in an armbar to submit Binsassi. (Telling by the announcer, the term armbar is pretty much universal.)
