Carano in “Haywire”
There was a rumor several months ago that Gina Carano would be starring in a possible sequel of the “Expendables” with an all female cast. Variety this week turned that rumor into a great possibility.
As reported Monday, producer Adi Shankar, who recently co-produced the movies “The Grey” and the upcoming “Dredd 3-D”, will be funding the untitled project, and it’s suspected to start filming in 2013. The script is currently being written with no director attached as of yet.
Carano is currently filming “Fast 6″ in London with The Rock, with another film, “In the Blood” yet to be filmed. For those hoping to see Carano fight in the next two years, don’t hold your breath.
The biggest questions will be “Who will round out the cast?”
