Sheila Gaff Pulls Out of Cage Warriors Title Fight; Sexton’s Career in Question

Gaff

Sexton

#1 Unified ranked flyweight Sheila Gaff has pulled out of her title match this coming Saturday with #2 ranked Rosi Sexton for the Cage Warrior’s 125 title due to an insistent cold. Doctors have refused her to fight according to an article on Ground and Pound Germany. Rescheduling is very unlikely, however.

Sexton, who was insistent on Gaff and herself being drug tested for their battle in the UK, states it would take $6,000 in order for them to do so again for another bout. Europe’s MMA drug test is not a stringent or sometimes unrequired.

Sexton is obviously worried about steroid use in the WMMA scene in Europe. The worry has started her to contemplate retirement sooner rather than later.

  1. Sheila Gaff suffers from a insistent cold and her doctor prohibited her to fight.

So I can’t accept the prejudgements made on twitter. I believe, Sheila Gaff is just as unhappy as Rosi Sexton about the situation and would rather fight.

Gaff never was afraid of a drug test and approved it from the beginning.

  2. Yes it’s weird. Had to bring together all the informations from various sites in german and english. Cagewarriors should have giving them.
