Cassie Crisano has had a harrowing weekend a few weeks ago as she was hit by Frank Lester during her weigh-in at the Spartan Promotion’s MMA card in Virginia.
Crisano, however, has released a statement and you can read it on the Fightergirls website. Warrants were issued for Lester and his girlfriend Shanie Rusth (Crisano’s opponent).
James Jones, the owner of “Spartan Promotions”, said he will issue a statement after a full investigation.
Stressful situations are nothing new to Crisano, who is a police officer in Maryland. She has used MMA training to help with her post traumatic stress disorder after witnessing her partner getting shot in the line of duty.
