World class judoka Marina Shafir is ready to take her game to the Tuff-n-uff cage March 23 in Mesquite, NV.
Training partner and good friend of Ronda Rousey, Shafir has already debuted in MMA with a 44 second armbar win this May. Like Rousey, she wiull make her TUFF debut at featherweight when she takes on Danielle Mack.
Also on the card, Kari Lichtenwalner will take on Kristi Lopez. and Nicole Rivera will face on Chelsea Lewis.
No word on if the event will be streamed.
Looking forward to seeing Marina in the cage again. She isn’t as sharp as Ronda, but she’s still a handful for anyone at 145.
Hopefully she’s got a good Muay Thai coach. With the clinch work, Judo and Muay Thai SHOULD go hand-in-hand.
