In what was an active month in the rankings, movement happened due to losses, inactivity, and fighters dropping in weight.

With her loss to UFC champion Ronda Rousey, Alexis Davis has dropped from the #2 slot to #5 in the bantamweight division. This moves Cat Zingano to the #2 position and Sarah Kaufman to #3. Tate goes to the #4.

With Joanna Jedrzejczyk move to the strawweight division, the bottom six positions from July’s flyweight rankings moved up a spot. InvictaFC fighter Alexa Grasso enters the list at #10.

With her UFC debut win, Caludia Gahdela took the #2 spot on the strawweight rankings, pushing Carla Esparza to #2. With the announcement of Ayaka Hamsaki moving to atomweight and not having fought at 115 in a year, she has dropped off the list. This pushed Tecia Torres (now #6), Mizuki Inoue (now #7) and Kalindra Faria (now #8) up a spot from last month. The a fore mentioned Jedrzejczyk, with her win over Juliana Lima, debuts at #9 in the 115 division.

Jessica Penne leaves the atomweight list due to inactivity, pushing everyone from #3 to #10 in July up a spot. Amy Davis re-enters the top 10.
