Unified Ranks for November – New Faces Make the Lists

#1 Ranked Megumi Fujii

There has been some shifting this month in the Unified MMA Rankings as several fighters have been inactive or have moved weight classes.

Megumi Fujii returns to the #1 spot in the Flyweight division, as Bellator champ Zoila Gurgel has vacated her belt due to her injury and wanting to move back to 125 pounds. Gurgel, however, is now in the #2 spot in the Super-flyweight division, and will stay on the list until March or her next fight, whichever comes first.

Inactive fighters Shayna Baszler, Jessica Penne are off the list. With her lost to Barb Honchak and  her drop to 125 pounds, Roxanne Modafferi has drop off the ranks for the first time in years.

Newcomers include undefeated Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann and undefeated Marianna Kheyfetts in the bantamweight and super-flyweight division respectively. Carla Esparza drops to the flyweight division, making her first appearance there.
