One of the best featherweights in Japan has dropped her gloves for a ring card; at least for now.
Rin Nakai, who is recovering from an undisclosed injury, was the ring girl for Pancrase Sunday, which was reported by GBRing.com. It was also announced she would be strutting around the ring for their July 8 and July 29 events.
The undefeated Nakai (11-0-1) last fought in March, getting a first round submission over Kyoto Kimura. The match was at a catchweight of 138 pounds, as Nakai is looking to make the drop to bantamweight.
No word on when Nakai will be making her way back to the ring as a competitor.
