An injury has forced Jordan Gaza to withdraw from her upcoming match with Glena Avila at the Dakota Fighting Championship in Grand Forks, ND Oct. 13. Avila announced earlier this week that they did find a replacement in Jackson MMA’s Emily Peters-Kagan.
Kagan made her pro debut in September after a success amateur career. She defeated Lynae Lovato at Jackson MMA Series by a unanimous decision.
Avila has yet to taste defeat in her career as a fighter. Both of her pro wins came via armbar, with her latest being over Maria Andaverde at BudoFights last December.
No word on if the event will be streamed.
