Plenty of changes in the November rankings as several victories and losses by fighters at InvictaFC 3 shifted fighters around.
With her championship win at Invicta’s October event, Jessica Penne stands atop of the atomweight rankings. She dethroned Naho Sugiyama (who is now #2) from the #1 spot. Sugiyama had held that ranking for over two years. Michelle Waterson’s victory over Lacey Schukman propels her into the #3 (moving up two spots from #5); and Stephanie Frausto’s win over Amy Davis helps her enter the rankings at #5.
The top five at 135 stay the same, but Shayna Baszler’s win over Sarah D’Alelio moving her up a spot from #7 to #6. The undefeated Cat Zingano, after her bantamweight debut win, enters the list at #10.
At flyweight, Zoila Gurgel re-enters the list at #7 after her return victory at Bellator. Vanessa Porto enters the list at #6 after her victory over Tara LaRosa. With Barb Honchak’s win over Aisling Daly, Daly drops from #4 to #8.
The only change at strawweight is Joanne Calderwood (now #9) bumping Ashley Cummins off the list after Calderwood’s KO victory over her at InvictaFC 3.
Ronda Rousey, who hasn’t competed in the 145 division for a year, has dropped out of the #1 spot at featherweight, giving Marloes Coenen the #1 spot. Everyone moves up a spot, with Ediene Gomes (now #6) trading spots with Hiroko Yamanaka (now #7). Australia’s Fiona Muxlow, with her win at Brace MMA, enters the list for the first time at #9. Ashley Sanchez re-enters at #10.
