The UFC will be pulling off a mid-week card Wednesday with two great female bouts on Fox Sports 1.
In the co-main event of the evening, two of the top fighters in the bantamweight division collide as Liz Carmouche will take on Alexis Davis. In a preliminary bout, InvictaFC vet Amanda Nunes will take on Strikeforce vet Germaine de Randamie.
Carmouche (9-3) came back from a loss to UFC champ Ronda Rousey as she defeated Jessica Andrade by second round TKO in July. Davis (14-5) made her UFC debut in June with a unanimous decision win over Rosi Sexton. Davis is currently on a three fight win streak, including a submission win over Shayna Baszler. Both Carmouche (135 lbs) and Davis (134 lbs) made weight for the fight.
Nunes (8-3) was successful in her UFC debut in August with a dominant win over Sheila Gaff. Randamie (4-2) won her UFC debut in July by a close split decision over Julie Kedzie. Both Nunes and Randamie came in at 136 pounds.
Both fights will be televised on Fox Sports 1, with the card starting at 2 p.m. pst/5 p.m. est.
