One of the female main card bouts has been set for “The Ultimate Fighter Finale” this Saturday in Las Vegas.
Jessamyn Duke announced via her twitter that she will take on Peggy Morgan. Both lost in the quaterfinals of the show. Duke (2-0) won her spot in the house by defeating Laura Howarth by triangle choke. She would have what is most likely the fight of the season with semi-finalist Raquel Pennington in the quarterfinals, losing a unanimous decision. Duke is currently training with her coach on the show – UFC champion Ronda Rousey, and teammate Shayna Baszler in California for the fight.
Morgan (2-0) would get the first round TKO over Bethany Marshall to make her way into the house, but would lose to Sarah Moras by armbar in the quarterfinals.
Two more main card matches are set to be announced after Wednesday’s semi-final between Raquel Pennington and Jessica Rakcozy, which will air on Fox Sports 1. The winner will face Julianna Pena for the TUF crown, while the loser is speculated to fight Roxanne Modafferi in a preliminary fight. Both Sarah Moras and Shayna Baszler are out due to injuries.
“The Ultimate Fighter Finale” will air on Fox Sports 1 Saturday.
