Jessica Aguilar to Face Alida Gray for WSOF’s First Female Title

After much speculation, Jessica Aguilar has an opponent for her World Series of Fighting debut next month.

SWFight.com is reporting undefeated strawweight Alida Gray will be stepping up to take on the world #1 fighter at 115 for the first ever WSOF women’s title in January.

Aguilar (16-4) signed with WSOF this past October. She is currently in a seven fight win streak with includes a win over former world #1 Megumi Fujii in her retirement match. She also has a win over UFC signee Carla Esparza.

Gray (4-0) has finished all of her opponents in her pro fights with three straight TKO/KO finishes. She also has an armbar submission over Patricia Vidonic this past June in her pro debut.

The bout is set for January 18th at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL. It will air on NBC Sports Net.
