Storm Damage featherweight tournament finalist Kate Da Silva, Princesses of Pain bantamweight finalist Charlene Watt, and POP bantamweight tournament semi-finalist Desiree-Ann Maaka will fight to become the 2014 60kg POP champion.
Da Silva (5-1 pro) is a five year vet of the sport, but took three years off and returned last year to take part in the Storm Damage featherweight tournament. She would get back to back submissions wins to get to the finals, losing to champion Faith Van Duin.
Watt (3-1 amateur) came back to MMA after a two year absense last year to take part of the POP bantamweight tournament. With a TKO in the quarterfinals and a submission in the semi-finals, she would lose an unanimous decision in the finals to Dawn Chalmers.
Maaka (1-1 amateur) debuted last year with a first round KO win in the opening round of the POP bantamweight tournament. She would lose to Watt in the semi-finals.
The POP will be announcing more matches in the upcoming weeks.
