Sarah Kaufman continues to prove her boxing is one of the best in bantamweight division.

Kaufman landed 202 significant strikes to gain a unanimous decision win over Leslie Smith in a rematch from the Invicta fight a year ago at “The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale” Wednesday night in Quebec City, Canada.

Kaufman (17-2; 1 NC) was controlled throughout, using combinations against Smith’s wild striking. Smith stood tough, even after taking the fight on 8 days notice, and was able to make it to the final bell. Kaufman took all rounds on all the judges scorecards.

Post fight, Kaufman started to lobby for a possible fight with Cat Zingano in Vanouver in June, but UFC president Dana White stated Zingano was out dealing with personal issues. White did not rule out Kaufman fighting in Vanourver, however.
