Bethe Correia has taken down one of “The 4 Horsewomen” and looks to make it two.
The UFC announced Correia will face Shayna Baszler at UFC 176 in Los Angeles August 2.
Corriea (8-0) recently defeated Jessamyn Duke by unanimous decision and promptly threw out the challenge to take on the rest of the group, including champion Ronda Rousey.
In Correia’s way is Baszler (15-8) who is looking to make her official UFC debut. Baszler is coming off an official submission loss to current title contender Alexis Davis and lost her in the “The Ultimate Fighter” quarterfinals to Juliana Pena.
The match is expected to be a part of the preliminary card which will air on Fox Sports 1 August 2.
