It has been a whirlwind the past few weeks as Invicta has acquired more fighters in a short span then the start of the promotion. One vet of the featherweight division, one TUF 20 hopeful, and a three sport athlete have signed to the promotion in the past few days.
Denmark’s Maria Hougaard (5-5) is a five year vet of the sport, and has wins over Yana Kunitskaya and Jorina Baars. She is currently ranked #7 in the world at featherweight. She had won three straight until losing by unanimous decision to Bellator signee Annalisa Bucci.
Jenny Liou-Shriver (2-0) made a quick impression at TUF 20 tryouts when video of her doing a flying armbar from her knees went viral. She has a win over Jillian Lybarger.
RFA vet Maureen Riordon went 3-1 as an amateur before making her pro debut earlier this year. She also competed on GLORY kickboxing and made her pro boxing debut last month.
No word on when the four fighters will debut for Invicta.
