With Anthony Pettis out due to injury, Jessica Eye versus Miesha Tate has been pushed to co-main event status at UFC on FOX 16 July 25th in Chicago. The match will are on Fox.


Veronica Rothenhausler has announced her retirement.

The knockout specialist had stated a series of concussions in her career has forced her to hang up the gloves. After several spectaculiar first round KOs, Rothenhausler had her first loss of her career to Charmaine Tweet at InvictaFC 8.

We wish her the best in her retirement.

Undefeated Tennessee featherweight Hannah Rogers has to InvictaFC. The promotion announced the signing this past week.

Rogers (4-0) has finished in three of her wins.

No word on when she will debut with the promotion.

A pair of bouts have been announced for Immortal FC in Curitiba, Brazil on June 13.

InvictaFC vet Jennifer Maia will take on Peru’s Stephanie Bragayrac. Maia (9-4-1) is coming off a loss to DeAnna Bennett. The Brazilian had back to back wins going into that fight.

Bragayrac (5-2) is one of the top prospects out of Peru, having finished in all but one of her wins.

In the other match,  Isabelly Varela is set to face Priscila Ferreira in a battle of unbeaten flyweights.

No word on if there will be a stream.


Hawaii’s Bryanna Fissori has signed to Bellator.

Fissori won her pro debut last October with a 33 second TKO. She went 6-2 as an amateur with three finishes.

No word on when she will debut with Bellator.

After missing weight at Invicta, Jenny Liou-Shriver has decided to go up to flyweight. With the move, she won’t be fighting Glena Avila at King of the Cage in early June.

However, Avila will now take on Cheryl Chan June 27th in Oregon at KOTC.

Finnish star Suvi Salmimies (3-0-1) will face Belorussian Liliya Kazak (3-3) at Cage 30 in Helsinki, Finland on May 16.
