Batara vs Rain Set for June

Coming off her recent win at Fusion Fight League, Kyra Batara looks to make two in a row as she takes on InvictaFC vet Kaiyana Rain at BAMMA USA June 26th in Commerce, CA. Batara confirmed the bout to us Friday.

Batara (2-2) was coming off a close split decision loss to Stephanie Skinner before facing Celine Haga at the FFL card a few weeks ago. She would take home an unanimous decision win in what was a great ground battle.

Rain (0-2) is returning to MMA after a two year absence from the sport. Rain has yet to be finished in her pro career, but has focused on boxing and kickboxing over the past two years.

Strawweight prospect Ashley Yoder is also expected to be fighting on the card.

The match will stream on for $12 on June 26th.

  1. Invasion of the collegiate wrestlers continue following Carla E and others as now Curuso, cutler, sharon j, and shanna y making successful transitions. Another item is West Virginia the 45 th state to allow mma and we are up to how many countries??? Kudos Emily whitmire for standing up to Tara models n competition remarks

  2. Expect to see batara star rise into invicta along with Sara Snow as possible challenge to Felicia Spencer in new 155 category. Felicia Spencer and Batara continue the tuff n uff to Invicta fc transition. Now with Puerto Rico club tournament with Invicta we can see others following in example outside of Pacific NW and Bamma who have depth of participants and quality matches.
