Finland’s Minna Grusander didn’t take much time to get her first pro bout.
MMA Viking broke the news Tuesday the IMMAF 2015 strawweight tournament champion will take on Iman Darabi at Fight Night Finland’s event October 10th. The fight will take place at a catchweight of 110 pounds.
Grusander won three matches to take home the championship in July. She had told us her intentions on turning pro after she won, and looks to eventually fight at 105 pounds.
She has a stiff test in Sweden’s Darabi (2-1) who won back to back fights before losing to current InvictaFC fighter Simona Soukupova in May.
IMMAF featherweight runner-up Sinead Kavanagh was the first from this year’s tournament to announce she was turning pro.
