After InvictaFC 16, Andrea Lee will be fighting again July 1.

Sources tell us Lee will defend her flyweight title against Sarah Alpar at Legacy 57 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Lee (4-1) has back to back wins going into InvictaFC 16, and looks to make it three in a row against Sarah D’Alelio.

Alpar (6-3) is coming off back to back wins and has a notable win over UFC fighter Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger.

The fight will air on AXS TV July 1.

Speaking of Lee, we periscoped with her getting acupuncture with Doctor Howard Fiddler in preparation for her fight at InvictaFC 16.

You can watch it here.

Two matches were announced for CFFC in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania March 19th.

Katlyn Chookagian will defend her CFFC flyweight title against Stephanie Bragayrac Heller. Chookagian (6-0) is one of the top prospects not signed to a major promotion. She won the flyweight title by decision this past January.

She will be tested in Paraguay’s Bragayrac  (7-3) who is coming off back to back rear naked choke wins.

A lightweight bout between Philly’s own Andria Warwo and Bobbi Jo Dalziel has also been added. Warwo is looking to break a two fight losing streak, while Dalziel is looking for her second pro win.

The matches will be taped for broadcast on CBS Sports Net.

Paige VanZant will be taking her talents to a different stage.

The UFC strawweight will bring her moves to “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC. She will be partnered with dance professional Mark Ballas. Current odds have the couple as moderate favorites at -800.

The season last three months, so it is questionable if she will be fighting until after UFC 200.

The competition starts  March 21 on ABC.

Congrats to Lynn Le and her company Society Nine.

Their gloves have been approved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for use. The gloves have been designed to severely cut down on eye pokes. Invicta has said they would love to test the gloves at an event in the near future.

Lynn will also be on Oxygen’s new show “Quit Your Day Job” March 30 and you will see a few familiar faces on the show. Here is the trailer:
