The four major hand to hand combat sports sees some familiar and new faces to the Olympic teams.

Judo was the last to see their team Monday as we awaited the May rankings to be announced. Two medalists from London will return to the grand stage as gold medalist Kayla Harrison (78 kg) and bronze medalist Marti Malloy (57 kg) earned their tickets to Rio. Joining them will be Olympic newcomer Angelica Delgado (52 kg).

Taekwondo sees a returning Paige McPherson at 67 kg and Jackie Galloway (over 67 kg), who was an alternate for the Mexican team at the last Olympics.

Mikaela Mayer (60 kg) was an alternate for the 2012 games, but will get her shot a gold this year . The US has a possibility to fill a spot at  51 kg if the AIBA Tripartite Committee decides to give a spot to one of the US fighters.

Wrestling qualified the most with four competitors looking for gold on the mats. Looking to keep her 37 match win streak alive, Adeline Gray is the favorite to win gold in the 75 kg category. Joining Grey as newcomers to the Olympics are collegiate champions Haley Augello (48 kg), and Helen Maroulis (53 kg), plus Michigan native in Erin Clodgo (63 kg).

The competitions are expected to stream and be televised on the networks of NBC in August.
