Katlyn Chookagian got her wish to fight in Madison Square Garden and Liz Carmouche will make history again.
The two were announced Thursday for UFC 205 in New York City on November 12th and will be the first ever pro female MMA bout in the historic arena. Carmouche made history in 2013 be one of the first female fighters to fight in the UFC alongside then champ Ronda Rousey.
Chookagian (8-0) won her first fight inside the octagon in July with an unanimous decision win over former InvictaFc champ Lauren Murphy. The two division CFFC champ is a New Jersey native will fight fight in front of her hometown fans.
Carmouche (10-5) is also coming off a win over Lauren Murphy. She is returning after a nearly a year and a half absence. She has been grappling in her time away from the octagon, recently submitting Maria Henderson in a match at EBI 8 this past weekend.
The match will most likely air on the Fox Sports 1 prelims November 12.
