Two fan favorite flyweights return plus two strawweight vets complete an exciting InvictaFC card January 14th in Kansas City.
Coming off suspension, Legacy champion Andrea Lee is ready to return to the cage taking on jiu-jitsu ace Jenny Liou Shriver.
Lee (4-2) is coming off a loss to Sarah D’Alelio at InvictaFC 16 this past March. She won back to back bouts before the loss.
Liou (6-4) won three straight in her return to flyweight, including a submission over Shannon Sinn. She too is coming off a loss to Sarah D’Alelio .
Fellow fan favorite Rachael Ostovich returns as she takes on a debuting Christine Ferea.
Ostovich (3-2) is coming off two thrilling fights, a loss to Andrea Lee and a win over Ariel Beck.
Ferea will be making her pro MMA debut after going 3-1 as an amateur. The Muay Thai specialist is a vet of the Lion Fight promotion.
In a bout of battle tested vets, Amy Montegro will face Celine Haga in a strawweight attraction.
Montegro won her promotional debut before losing a split decision to current UFC star Jamie Moyle. She won a split decision a Super Fight League against Glena Avila a year ago.
Haga (10-13) has won four straight all by submission. She will be making her loong awaited promotional debut.
The three bouts takes the card to eight bouts, including the main event, which features Megan Anderson and Charmaine Tweet vying to become the number 1 contender for the InvictaFC featherweight title.
The event will stream on UFC Fight Pass January 14th.
