Video – Serena DeJesus Discusses First Pro Win

The former Tuff-n-uff Bantamweight champion Serena De Jesus made a successful professional debut Saturday at Fusion Fight League and Intense Championship Fighting’s co-promotion in Great Falls, Montana with a unanimous decision win over fellow pro debutante Kelly Clayton.

The back and forth battle saw DeJesus use body kicks to keep Clayton at distance, and the fight never touched the ground in the whole fifteen minutes.

Training in Vegas under Coach John Wood at Syndicate MMA, she hopes this sparks more fight offers this year as she is looking to recover quickly.

We caught up with DeJesus to talk about the win and having her family watch her pro debut.
