The Nordic female competitors had a banner day in the finals at the IMMAF European championships in Bucharest, Romania on Friday.
Both Finland and Sweden took 2 golds and a silver a piece; with Sweden taking home both medals for strawweight.
Sweden’s Frida Vastamäki was the only one to get two finishes to the women’s divisions, with her spinning backfist TKO win over England’s Joanna Doyle. She got a head kick knockout in the quarterfinals.
Julia Dorny of German gains her first gold medal after her two attempts at IMMAF tournaments, this time in the featherweight division.
