The first half saw 39 pro debuts and 48 amateur debuts. This shows the divisions will be growing in the coming years, and with more fights yet to come in the later half of 2018.

Like atomweight, decisions (50) was the most popular way to win a fight at pro strawweight. 37 submissions was the second most popular followed by TKO/KOs with 26. There were also two draws.

On the amateur side sees a bigger gap with decisions (40) outpacing submissions (16) for the most popular way to win. TKO/KO had 24 fights end in that manner. The was a draw and a disqualification as well.
