BJPenn.com is reporting Ronda Rousey may return for UFC 207 December 30th in Las Vegas in a title match with champion Amanda Nunes.


UFC President Dana White told the press this week he is very interested now in a fight between Cris “Cyborg” Justino and Ronda Rousey. Alexa Grasso Signs to the UFC; Faces Heather Clark in Mexico

The hottest strawweight prospect on the InvictaFC roster has finally made it to the UFC.

Undefeated Alexa Grasso (8-0) will fight in her home country of Mexico as she faces Heather Clark (7-5) at UFC Fight Night Mexico City November 5th. The match was reported by several news outlets Thursday, with her teammate Irene Aldana confirming the match on twitter.

Grasso is coming off a win over Jodie Esquibel at Invicta FC 18 this past month. With the win, Grass earned a title shot against champion Angela Hill, but has foregone it to get called up by the UFC.

Clark is coming off a loss to Karolina Kowalkiewicz after back to back wins on her official record.

The match will air on Fox Sports 1.

Cyborg Justino’s next fight will be in the UFC.

After wanting to defend her InvictaFC title next, she turned down a possible fight with Germaine de Randamie. The UFC, who still holds Justino’s contract, has other ideas. MMA Junkie is reporting up and coming fighter Lina Lansberg (see above) of Sweden will face Cyborg at UFC Fight Night 95 in Brasilia, Brazil September 24th. Waterson vs. Daly; Kish vs. Moroz Announced

Two strawweight bouts have been announced for two upcoming UFC Fight Night events.

Michelle Waterson will return to the octagon as she faces Aisling Daly as the UFC heads to Hamburg, Germany September 3rd. The former InvictaFC champion Waterson (13-4) is coming off a win in her UFC debut with a third round rear naked choke submission over Angela Magana. Watch the TUF 23 Finale Weigh-ins here at 3 p.m. pst/6 p.m. est

The finals are set as Amanda Bobby Cooper and Tatiana Suarez will vie for the Ultimate Fighter Strawweight Tournament title Friday night. One will come out with a guaranteed UFC contract and many other prizes.

This is not to take away from what will be the biggest strawweight rematch in history as Joanna Jedrzejczyk defends her 115 title against Claudia Gadelha. Their 2014 affair was one of the best fights of the year and many taking sides on who won the match. The judges gave the split decision to Jedrzejczyk.

Weigh-ins start at 3 p.m. pacific/6 p.m. eastern. You can watch below.

Namajunas vs. Kowalkiewicz Added to UFC 201

CkT6vbFUkAAT97_In what could be a title eliminator, Rose Namajuas will face Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 201 in Atlanta July 30th.

Namajunas (5-2) avenged her loss to Tecia Torres in her last outing, and the TUF 20 runner-up will look to get an opportunity to gain UFC gold once again.

Kowalkiewicz (9-0) has defeated Randa Markos and Heather Clark in her UFC run, and looks to be in a Polish superfight with champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk, that is if Jędrzejczyk defeats Claudia Gadelha.

No word on if the fight will be on the main ppv card or the televised prelims.

Watch the UFC 199 Weight Announcements at 4 p.m. pst/7 p.m. est

penne_andradeIn what will be a UFC first, the “official” weigh-ins won’t be televised.

The California State Athletic Commission are instituting new rules and the fighters will weigh-in officially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday. The commission officials and a representative of the other fighter’s team will be present when the fighter decides to hit the scales. If they don’t make weight on the first try, like before they will re-weigh a second time and if they don’t make it, they will have two hours to lose the weight.

The live stream, which will stream below at 4 p.m. pst/7 p.m. est, will see Joe Rogan announce the weights for the record and the fighters will do staredowns.

UFC 199 sees Jessica Andrade making her debut at strawweight facing former InvictaFC atomweight champion Jessica Penne. Their match will air on the Fox Sports 1 Saturday.

Valentina Shevchenko and Coach Pavel Fedotov Take on Robbers in Shoot-out

Scary incident Monday night as UFC fighter Valentina Shevchenko and her coach Pavel Fedotov will caught in the middle of a robbery.

Shevchenko and Fedotov were at a local Lima, Peru chicken restaurant when the robbers came in, holding up the patrons and employees.  Video of the robbery has surfaced online.
