A lot of changes this month in the rankings as we have saw many ranked fighters hit the cage.

The most action happened at strawweight as there were many upsets in the division.

With her win over Joanne Calderwood, Maryna Moroz makes her debut in the rankings at #6. Calderwood drops to #9, moving  Karolina Kowalkiewicz to #5. The new InvictaFC champion Livia Renata Souza makes her debut on the top 10 at #7. Former champ Katja Kankaanpää drops to #10.

Due to inactivity, Aline Serio has drop off the rankings at flyweight, which pushes Elaine Albuquerque (now #6), Reina Cordoba (now #7), and Roxanne Modafferi (now #8) move up a spot. Two enter the top ten this month, Silvana Gomez (#9) and Taila Santos (#10).

With her win over Sarah Kaufman, Alexis Davis moves two spots to #3 at bantamweight. Kaufman drops from #4 to #7. Miesha Tate drops to #4, giving Cat Zingano the #2 spot. As we predicted (see bottom), Maryna Moroz has signed to the UFC.

The 5-0 fighter was signed to the promotion this past week and will face fellow undefeated fighter Joanne Calderwood at UFC’s card in Poland April 11th.

Moroz has finished in all of her wins, never seeing the third round; three of her wins by submission. Moroz was supposed to take part in the semi-finals of the XFCi strawweight tournament March 15th but the promotion announced they will find a replacement. No word on if the XFCi’s contract was bought out or they will sue for breach.

Calderwood (9-0) win her official UFC debut over Seo Hee Ham after losing in the quarterfinals of the TUF 20 tournament.

The match is expected to stream on UFC Fight Pass April 11th.
