Van Zant vs. Chambers Announced for UFC 191


Paige Van Zant and Alex Chambers will enter the octagon for the there respective third bouts in the octagon at UFC 191 on Las Vegas September 5th. The match was announced Wednesday.

Van Zant (5-1) has won three straight fights with a TKO over Kailin Curran and a unanimous decision over Felice Herrig in her trips to the octagon.

Chambers (5-2) is coming off a come from behind win over Curran, getting the armbar in round 3 in May. The Aussie would lose her official UFC debut by unanimous decision to Aisling Daly.

The match will either air on the ppv portion of the card or be the featured fight on the Fox Sports 1 prelims.

Two news additions to InvictaFC will be decided tonight.

The finals of the Tuff-n-uff featherweight and lightweight tournaments take place tonight (Friday) in Las Vegas, which will stream on GoFightLive.tv for $10.

Amber Leibrock will battle Paola Ramirez  in the featherweight final, while Felicia Spencer will fight Jessica Richer in the lightweight final. All made weight.

Leibrock (2-1) was a last minute replacement in the tournament and got a 25 second TKO win in her semi-final contest with Pam Sorenson. Undefeated Ramirez (4-0) won an unanimous decision over Heather Wilson in the other semi-final. They will be the co-main event of the evening.

Spencer (4-1) submitted Leanne Foster with an armbar to send her to the 155 final. Jessica Eve Richer (3-0) would get an unanimous decision to her place in the final. The match will serve as the main event.
