Norma Rueda Center Returns to Invicta; Replaces injured Alvarez

reuda center 02Lynn Alvarez has suffered an injury during training and had to bow out of her match with the undefeated DeAnna Bennett.  Wrestler and InvictaFC vet Norma Rueda Center will make her way back to the promotion to replace her.

Center (3-1) lost to Joanne Calderwood in Center’s only Invicta match by unanimous decision. She was undefeated as an amateur and riding a two fight win streak going in. Since the loss, Center defeated BJJ champion Michelle Nicolini at Legacy MMA.

Flyweight of the Year Bennett (6-0) will make her strawweight debut in the match.

InvictaFC 11 will take place in Los Angeles, CA, and will stream live on UFC Fight Pass.
