30 Try Out for TUF 28

With the UFC in desperate need of featherweights, they put out the call for women yo come to Las Vegas for The Ultimate Fighter casing call Tuesday. Thirty athletes showed up for the tryouts for the 28th season of the show.

The champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino was on hand to cover who maybe a new contender for her in the coming years. She also welcomed the hopefuls to dinner Tuesday night.

  1. My; I wonder what the requirements are for the women’s FW division. I guess if you have a pulse, you’re eligible. Kailin Young hasn’t had a win in WMMA since early 2012. Hopefully here record in kickboxing has been more favorable.

    1. Requirements were 3 first gets with a winning record but exceptions have been made in the past. Kaitlin would have been a good reason for one

  2. I’m not saying Young would not be a good reason for an exception, but I am curious that given that she hasn’t had a win in WMMA since January 2012, what makes you think she is? Any idea as to why Kelly Clayton at 0-1, would be granted an exception as well?
